Sony Releases Device Monitor 5.0
Sony has upgraded its multi-protocol monitoring system with an updated interface, improved setup support for Sony VTRs, enhanced multimedia capabilities and updated SNMP functionality.

Device Monitor 5.0 is also compatible with Sony's ISR, VDCP, PJCP and plasma display devices as well as manufacturers' legacy gear such as Panasonic D5 and DVCPRO. Key features include MemoryStick capability, enhanced sound support, updated SNMP components, additional scalable-width icon fields, pop-up links and more.

Device Monitor 5.0 runs on Windows 2000, XP as well as Solaris and Linux. The system can also share a centralized database in large-scale installations or across multiple locations.
