RTW to Highlight Loudness, Surround Products at IBC
RTW's Loudness Family of Products

Cologne, Germany-based audio test and measurement company RTW will showcase its line of products for loudness control and Surround Sound analysis at IBC2009.

The company’s “Loudness Family” of products, including SurroundControl, SurroundMonitor and Digital Monitor, feature an integrated loudness display conforming to the ITU BS.1771 guideline as a standard feature. These products offer easy-to-use solutions for monitoring the loudness of stereo, multichannel and surround signals in a wide range of applications, as a complement or an alternative to conventional peak meters.

RTW’s revamped SurroundControl products (31900/31960) include eight-channel systems for professional production, post production and broadcast applications that control, monitor and analyze surround sound using the unique RTW Surround Sound Analyzer. The SD versions feature an HD- and SD-capable SDI de-embedder interface as well as analog and digital audio inputs and outputs.

RTW will also demonstrate the Remote Display 30010, a dedicated 8.4 inch VGA monitor featuring function keys below the display screen that further enhances the ergonomics of the SurroundMonitor 11900. It also controls the instrument functions of the SurroundControl 31900.

Also at the RTW stand is the RTW Multichannel and Surround Audio Vectorscope SurroundMonitor 108900X-PLUS (including table-stand and mains adapter), an eight-channel desktop audio vectorscope with peak program meters, a surround sound analyzer, and analog and digital inputs.

RTW will also showcase the SurroundMonitor 10600-PLUS, a high performance, budget-friendly display system for monitoring digital stereo, multichannel and surround audio signals. It incorporates an integrated loudness display according to the ITU-BS.1771 guideline. Additional improvements include a full-screen mode for enlarged display showing individual instruments used as well as detail enhancements within the featured Surround Sound Analyzer.

RTW will be in Stand 8.E76.
