Ross Video Ships New Synergy Switchers, Releases OverDrive Upgrade
Ross Video has released a new version of OverDrive, its live production control system.

The new version of the Window based system features an Avid iNEWS MOS interface that allows rundowns created in the NCS to be used in OverDrive. Other features include custom control macro support, icon capture and multiple shots per story to accommodate complex events.

Ross also announced that it is now shipping the Ross Synergy MD/MD-X multi-definition production switchers. The new line of switchers adds support for SD and HD formats and includes the same features that are found on the standard definition version such as the Ross Ultrachrome advanced chroma keyer and VTR, DDR, audio mixer, router and server control.
