Ross Video and Sonifex to Expand openGear Terminal Equipment Platform
A partnership between Ross Video and Sonifex will expand their support for the openGear terminal equipment platform based on an open-architecture, 2RU modular frame designed to accommodate up to 10 cards.

Diverse cards from various terminal equipment vendors support the openGear platform, allowing facilities the freedom and flexibility to choose the best technology for their applications. Interoperable openGear terminal equipment solutions provide platforms with a control system that allows easy monitoring and control of frames and modules on the network.

“The openGear platform will allow Sonifex the ability to continue to offer quality and reliable products expected by our customers,” said Paul Schofield, director of New Products at Soniflex. “We look forward to giving customers the freedom to choose the best solution for their broadcast needs.”

“We welcome Sonifex into the openGear platform,” said Eric Goodmurphy, marketing product manager for RossGear. “Sonifex along with all openGear partners provides customers the best solution in one standard frame.”

Sonifex will be at Stand 8.561, and Ross Video will be at Stand 9.430.
