Ross Tackles Multiple Sources With CrossOver
Ross CrossOver video switcher
Ross Video announced its new compact CrossOver series of video switchers at this year's IBC. The units are designed for service in compact mobile, or production areas with limited physical space.

The CrossOvers are available in four configurations: the CrossOver 6, which has six multidefinition inputs and six source selector buttons; the CrossOver 12 which was 12 multidefinition inputs and 10 source selectors; and SD-only versions of the 6 and 12.

All of the switchers include the Ultachrome chroma keyer, dual animation stores, two 2D DVE units and a downconverted analog output.

The CrossOver's switcher head is separate from the control surface, lending itself to compact installations in OB vans, small studios and houses of worship.
