Ross Enhances Synergy Production Switcher Line
Ross Video Ltd. is launching new software which promises to add enhanced functionality to the company's Synergy SD switchers. Version 16 software adds several new interfaces and versatility to the already extensive list. Device interfaces now include Avid Airspeed and EVS maXS servers; Canon and Sony robotic cameras; Chyron Duet CGs; Extron routers; as well as enhancements to the Miranda K2 virtual monitor wall system.

Ross is also showing its new Synergy MD/X multi-definition production switchers with enhanced feature sets for 2006. The switchers can deliver 525/625 SD video and 720p, 1080i and 1080psf video. The Synergy MD/X also provides users with the ability to add the Ross OverDrive Production Control system, which provides operational efficiencies along with high definition production.

The company will also be launching a new 72 x 72 multi-definition router, as well as showcasing enhancements to its NK series of routing systems.
