RF Central Shipping Upgradeable Receiver for Sports, ENG
RF Central is now delivering its new RFX-RMR-II 5.8GHz rack-mounted receiver, designed for live sports stadium and arena coverage as well as ENG news remotes. It offers complete HD upgradeability with low-delay HD decoding technology.

The RMR-II receives both SD and HD signals and outputs composite video, SDI (HD) or DVB-ASI. Audio capabilities including analog, digital and fully embedded audio outputs.

It offers robust RF performance with exceptional adjacent channel rejection and is built with a fully upgradeable COFDM decoder, according to the company. Demodulation modes include QPSK, 16 QAM and 64 QAM with auto detection. The RMR-II is also offered in the 2GHz frequency band and in other frequencies upon request.

“The RFX-RMR-II 5.8 rack-mounted receiver is an example of RF Central’s cutting edge technology,” said RF Central CEO Jeff Winemiller. “It allows program producers and broadcasters maximum flexibility with a nonlicensed link.”
