Radyne ComStream DVB modulator is now DVB-S2 and DVB-S ready.

Radyne's DVB-S2 upgrade offers users an interface kit and the PCMCIA EZ upgrade card links to the DVB uplink. DVB-S2 is the next generation DVB standard for satellite.

Features include increased power and more efficient bandwidth and carrier-to-noise below the noise floor.

Users who have a DM240 modulator can upgrade existing equipment. The DM240 offers speeds up to 80 Mbps for DVB-S and 238 Mbps for DVB-S2 and modulation schemes of QPSK, 8PSK and 16QAM.
