Pinnacle Ships Liquid Silver 4 Editing System
Pinnacle Systems Inc. has released Pinnacle Liquid Silver V.4, an upgrade of the company's flagship editing system for post production with MPEG-2 and uncompressed video. The upgrade was designed to maximize editing productivity and expand networking support for a range of applications.

V.4 software has several new creative tools and distribution solutions, including many delivered through integration of Pinnacle software applications such as TitleDeko, Commotion and Impression.

New features of Liquid Silver include:

* Media management features for networked editing support
* Speed change capabilities with the dynamic timewarp editor
* Capture to timeline capability for increased productivity
* An advanced CX color corrector option.

Pinnacle also released Liquid Silver turnkey systems based on Compaq EVO W8000 workstations. The professional-class systems deliver Liquid Silver in a chassis that can be used in desktop or rack-mounted configurations.
