Pharos to Demo Pharos Mediator at IBC
Pharos Communications, a Reading, England-based company focused on software architecture for broadcast process management, will showcase its latest developments in file-based broadcast workflow at IBC2006.

The demonstration will focus on Pharos Mediator media management system, and Pharos' analysis of each customer's minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, working practices.

Pharos Mediator automatically tracks content flow from initial acquisition to playout and post-transmission storage. Configurable for large or small networks, it includes ingest tools, browsing, quality-control processing and management of tape, and archive libraries.

British broadcaster Channel 4 Television recently selected Pharos Mediator to carry it forward into high-efficiency tapeless broadcasting and archiving.

Pharos will be in Stand 10.421.
