OmniBus Systems to Demonstrate iTX and OPUS Innovations
OmniBus will showcase new versions of iTX at IBC2007. Version 1.1 replaces all the functions of a broadcast master control and play-out chain in a single software application that supports both SD and HD environments for news production.

Version 1.1’s features include real-time 3D graphics options, multiple audio tracks for multilanguage applications, open and closed captions, HD ingest, surround sound capability, and live instant playback for news, sports and entertainment programs. Version 1.1 also supports a wide range of formats, including IMX, XDCAM HD, MXF and GXF.

OmniBus will also preview iTX Version 1.2, slated for release in Q4. iTX 1.2 features further developments for news and sports play-out, enhanced video effects, real-time video processing, and control of sub-channels for schedules with regional variations.

A new version of OmniBus OPUS 2 provides end-to-end content processing, including “soft-XML,” while offering integration with the new OPUS Smart Client, a platform-independent application that offers a rich-media interface to OPUS systems from any Web browser.

OmniBus Systems will be in Stand 8.441.
