OmniBus’ iTX Now Supports Pinnacle Files
OmniBus Systems has added native support for the Pinnacle file format to its iTX automation and production system.

The optional plug-in for iTX adds native handling capability for Pinnacle files within the iTX playout engine, allowing customers with large archives of content on Pinnacle servers to continue to have access to media assets during video server replacement cycles.

“Being a multi-format system, iTX supports a wide variety of file formats and protocols,” said Ian Fletcher, CTO OmniBus Systems. “It’s important for our customers—wherever they are in their replacement cycle—to be able to integrate iTX easily with existing installations, and with the addition of Pinnacle support, we are able to offer a powerful solution to a large group of broadcasters seeking a way to preserve the value of their assets into the future.”
