Nvision Demonstrates Router and Master Control Technology, 3 Gbps
At NAB2007, Nvision will demonstrate its new HD H.264 encoder that delivers low latency, high-quality, artifact-free HD video at 6-12 Mbps for building cost-effective HDTV services. H.264, also known as MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC (Advanced Video Coding) is a video compression standard that offers more efficient compression than its predecessors.

The company will also unveil the NV5128-MC Master Control, which combines digital master control and multiformat routing in the same frame. The 8 RU system offers optional built-in Dolby E decoding and a host of standard features that include A/B mixing with full auto transition control, multilevel video keying, logo store, two-picture "squeezeback" and more.

Nvision will also showcase the NV9000-SE Java-based utility, an upgrade to its NV9000 Router Control System, which features a new interface.

The company's digital routers will be on display. The NV8256-Plus Digital Video Router includes support for HD-SDI, SDI and analog signals in either 525 or 625 line formats, plus 3 Gbps capability. The NV8288 Digital Video Router incorporates Nvision's HD-SDI SWB (Super Wide Band) signal transport technology and can be future-proofed with 3 Gbps capability. The CR Series of Compact Router Systems is also enabled with 3 Gbps HD/SDI operation.

Nvision will be in booth SU9605.
