The new cable is designed for camera use where low voltage (less than 50 V) is used.

The opticalCON connector uses a metal housing with a locking mechanism. A heavy duty cable retention scheme along with a self-sealing shutter is used to keep out dirt rounds out the connector’s features.

Neutrik product applications manager Fred Besnoff said, “Incorporating a low-voltage camera cable into our fiber assemblies is another feature that makes opticalCON a robust solution for a variety of applications.”

Also new for the show is the rearTWIST BNC line of BNC connectors. The high-bandwidth 75 ohm rearTWIST BNCs are capable of handling uncompressed 1080p HD video up to 4.5 GHz.
