Neutrik Introduces 32 Amp PowerCon
Neutrik will debut its enhanced 32 amp PowerCon, suitable for the current handling and power transfer of high-power broadcast distribution systems.

The locking three-conductor AC connector system has contacts for line, neutral and pre-mating ground.

The company says it replaces appliance couplers wherever a rugged solution, in combination with a locking device, is required for a safe power connection. The system consists of two connectors: a chassis receptacle and an in-line cable connector with locking mechanism.

PowerCon can be used as a power supply interface for industrial applications and has the advantage of a secure locking system, not available with standard AC power connectors. The connectors fulfill current UL safety standards, and are UL-recognized. PowerCon is a connector without breaking capacity, and should not be connected or disconnected under load or live situations, according to Neutrik.

Neutrik will be in Booth N9029
