Network Electronics Flashes New Multicon Router Control
Network Electronics will introduce its new Multicon integrated control system at IBC2008.

Multicon's control capabilities extend to the company's Flashlink signal processing and optical transport technology, and to Network's VikinX routers.

Multicon can also control third-party routers and other video distribution equipment in the distribution chain, including recording and playout gear and automation systems. Network management systems can interface to Multicon via SNMP and its operation is designed to be user-friendly.

When used in conjunction with the company's System Configurator software, Multicon setup and operation is accelerated through specially developed wizards and drag-and-drop menus.

Norway-based Network Electronics will be at stand 8.B70.
