Leitch Debuts New Module for Videotek SQM
Leitch has unveiled the latest module for its Videotek Signal Quality Manager, the SQM-STM at IBC in Amsterdam.

The new module streams one analog video and two analog audio channels and provides visual and aural confidence monitoring by streaming analog and audio to a PC, across networked or Internet connections, using the Videotek Remote Management software.

SQM monitors the conditions of all common audio and video formats including analog, digital and MPEG. It is designed to detect errors in the signal path and pinpoint the exact location of the error.

The module has two composite analog video inputs and four channels of analog audio, user-selectable for streaming. Bandwidth, picture resolution and frame rate are adjustable.
