For-A Plans InfoComm Debut for New Multiviewer
For-A is making plans to introduce its MV-1610HS 16-channel multiviewer during InfoComm 2008, held in Las Vegas June 18-20.

The new device was first shown at the NAB Show this year and features support of both composite analog and SD/HD digital video signals. It also supports both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, as well as mixed video frame rates.

The MV-160HS outputs in DVI-I format with 1920x1920 resolution and has a LAN interface to assist in transferring output video over a network. The new multiviewer provides title and tally displays and provides loss of video detection functionality. Video images input to the unit can be positioned any in any of the multiviewer’s enabled frames and frame size is adjustable. The MV-1610HS also includes a layout editor for making changes to the units screen patterns from a computer.

For-A is also planning to demonstrate its new HVS-650HS switcher and MPB-100VW VideoWriter at InfoComm 2008.
