Focus Doubles FireStore DDR Capacity
Focus Enhancements has introduced an 80 GB FireWire disk drive for its FireStore DV disk recorders, effectively doubling the current capacity of standard FireWire drives.

The drive features more than six hours of removable storage for FireStore DR-DV5000 and FireStore FS-3. It can record up to 369 minutes of DV video on a disk drive, rotate at 5400 RPM and features an 8 MB cache. FireStore with Focus' DTE technology is compatible with NLE formats, including Avid OMF, Canopus AVI, Matrox AVI, Quicktime, AVI1 and AVI2.
