Fast Forward Video to Launch New DVRs
Fast Forward Video (FFV) is debuting a new line of compact, portable DVRs at NAB2005.

The new FieldPro DVR with IDE hard drive targets a wide range of users, including those in security, surveillance, military, law enforcement, and the broadcast industry. Measuring just
5x1.35x3.21-inches and featuring an internal 2.5-inch hard drive and a USB 2.0 download port, the FieldPro offers scalable MJPEG compression and 720x486 pixel image resolution.

Also new from FFV is the Mini DVR Pro On-Body DVR, a standalone, handheld pocket-sized DVR that, like the FieldPro, also features scalable MPJEG compression and 720 x 486 resolution. It measures 5.2x0.8x3.7-inches, can fit in the palm of a hand, slip into a pocket or hang on a belt. It can record up to two hours at 20:1 compression on standard Compact Flash cards.

The Outrider CF Board-Level DVR will also debut at the FFV booth. The Outrider measures 4.69x2.21-inches, is designed for OEM applications and targets high-resolution recoding for surveillance, law enforcement, emergency first responders and portable broadcasters. An IDE version is equipped for use with a 2.5-inch IDE hard drive.

FFV will be in Booth C3253.
