Doremi Introduces HD to DVI Converter
Doremi Labs has launched the HDVI-10 SDI video to DVI converter which accepts SDI or HD-SDI video and converts the signal to the DVI format.

The HDVI-10 enables displays to be used as SDI video monitors by using the DVI interface on LCD monitors, video projectors and HDTV televisions. The HDVI-10 then scales the video to fit the screen or output the video without scaling, depending on the display. Its SDI input supports video formats, such as NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080p and 1080I. The input scan rate is detected and processed to match the connected display's resolution. A dual-SDI input version of the HDVI-10 will also be available.

The HDVI-10 will begin shipping in November for a list price of $1,000.
