Calrec to Demo Bluefin on Sigma
Calrec will mark the IBC debut of its Bluefin high-density signal processing technology by demonstrating it on a Calrec Sigma digital console. Using Bluefin, the Sigma desk can handle 320 fully equipped mono equivalent channels, packaged as 108 stereo and 104 mono, and can be configured up to 52 full 5.1 surround channels.

The U.K.-based audio console maker will also display its Zeta digital console, designed for local TV and radio stations, radio production centers, and outside broadcast vehicles. The Gigabit Ethernet-enabled Hydra audio networking system for sharing I/O resources between Calrec consoles will also be on hand.

Calrec will be in Stand 8.570.
