BT Broadcast Launches Global HD Distribution Service
BT Broadcast Services is introducing a global "end to end" service that combines satellite and fiber technology to distribute HD programming.

The service fully integrates trucks, space and fiber, supported by an in-house consultancy service to ensure quality control. The global network will offer HD distribution from BTBS hubs in London, New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Tokyo.

The service supports flexible bandwidth of 24 Mbps and 46 Mbps, depending on customer requirements, and all current HD video and audio formats. The booking system is available 24/7 and can support bookings made up to one year in advance.
