Blackmagic Design Upgrades for Adobe
Blackmagic Design has released a new software update with support for the new Adobe Production Studio and Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0.

The update includes a 4:4:4:10 bit RGB film editing video capability for Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, allowing a more seamless transition between the video and graphics applications.

"We worked very closely with Adobe to provide a flexible, affordable end-to-end Dual Link HD 4:4:4 10 bit RGB workflow straight out of the box--a world first that cannot be matched in picture quality, price or workflow on the Windows platform today," said Grant Petty, CEO of Blackmagic Design.

The new software can be found in all Blackmagic Design's DeckLink series editing and compositing products, which enable post-production, effects and video-editing professionals to work with uncompressed HD and SD video with the Adobe Production Studio applications.

The upgrade is available for download from Blackmagic Design's support Web site.
