Blackmagic Design Announces UltraScope Upgrade

Video editing technologies provider Blackmagic Design has enhanced their UltraScope 3Gb/s SDI waveform monitor.

Version 1.1 features the new digitally synthesized composite waveform view and is available for download. The upgrade is free for Blackmagic UltraScope customers.

The composite waveform view is digitally synthesized from the SD or HD video input and provides editors with a familiar approach that maintains technical accuracy.

Version 1.1 offers many options to assist in color correction as well, including side-by-side luminance and composite views, object viewing in blacks, mid grey or whites for easier color neutralizing, RGB parade, luma plus composite display and vector scope for post production.
