Azden to Show New Wireless Mics for ENG
At the NAB Show, Azden Corp. will introduce a newly redesigned lineup of its wireless mic products for ENG.

The new equipment will work in the 628-662 MHz band, making it compatible with the DTV changeover. The new 1200 series UHF system will feature the 1200URX/Si (slot-in receiver), 1200URX/AB (receiver with Anton Bauer Gold Mount) and 1200URX/VM (V-Mount receiver), along with the 1200BT (body-pack transmitter) and 1200XT (plug-in transmitter).

The new receivers and transmitters offer 188 digitally selectable UHD frequencies (638.125 to 661.875 MHz), which offer better selectivity in conjunction with improved signal to noise ratio and extended battery life, the company said. The digital displays also provide information concerning signal strength, diversity antenna function and battery condition. All models include newly improved compander/expander circuitry. The 1200XT now provides true 48 V Phantom Power.

The new product line will ship in May.

Azden will be in Booth N4924.
