The Associated Press released ENPS 4.0, the latest version of it news production system software.

The upgrade allows journalists to automatically send versions of audio and video directly to the Web, wireless PDA's, mobile phones and printers. Text and media output are customizable for public access or Internet users and reporters in the field.

Other new features include simplified workflow for the assignment desk, more efficient news wire browsing, instant access to AP Graphics Bank images and AP PrimeCuts sound bites and improvements to ENPS Stats.
