AP Enhances ENPS for NAB2006
Associated Press Broadcast Technology will show new features for its ENPS news production system at NAB2006.

Version 5 of ENPS now includes compatibility with Apple MacIntosh; the same browser-based client also allows PC-based ENPS access from the Internet as well. Version 5 also offers closer integration with Apple Final Cut Pro.

The update also features an enhanced "always there" Search Bar to allow users to easily and simultaneously search ENPS, external content management systems, databases and the Web. Version 5 also features enhanced media control, including a new script pane, which displays media previews from MOS pointers in the script. These previews play adjacent to the relevant portions of the news story so that producers can ensure that the media is correct for that story.

AP will be in room N111 and in Booth R212 at the RTNDA convention in the Las Vegas Hilton.
