AJA Video Upgrades Warranty on Kona Video Cards
AJA Video Inc. recently expanded the warranty terms for its Kona HD and Kona SD uncompressed 10-bit Quick Time video cards for Mac OS X to three years.

The extended warranty will be included in the purchase price. According to the company, most card providers offer a one-year warranty and/or charge extra for an extended guarantee. The company undertook the change to clarify the products' upfront price and to express confidence in its equipment

The Kona cards are uncompressed 10-bit PCI video cards built for editing and design functions on Mac OS X. The cards also include features for effects, graphics and broadcast paint. The Kona SD provides features for SDTV, and the Kona HD for HDTV television, uses high processing power and speed for film-quality editing and effects on the desktop.
