AJA Video Announces Adobe Support For XENA HS
AJA Video announced that Adobe is implementing native support for AJA's XENA HS real-time HD-SDI I/O card within Adobe's Premier Pro 2.0. This will provide Adobe users with native full-resolution capture, editing and playback in HD or SD.

"Through our collaboration in the Adobe OpenHD alliance, we are able to offer open, end-to-end HD and SD workflows for high performance and reliability at a cost significantly less than proprietary solutions," said Simon Hayhurst, Adobe director of digital video and product management.

XENA HS allows high-speed input and output of uncompressed SD or HD audio and video under full Adobe software control. AJA plug-ins also provide users with preview and export capabilities within Adobe Photoshop CS2 and preview capability within Adobe After Effects 7.0.
