Adobe Premier Pro Gets HDV Plug-in
Adobe is adding a FireWire HDV plug-in for its Premier Pro 1.5 software. The plug-in will work with next-gen HDV cameras such as Sony's HDR-FX-1.

"The Sony HDR-FX1 and JVC GR-HD1 are milestone products, offering HD-quality video at breakthrough price points that will encourage the widespread adoption of HDV across the industry," said Steve Saylor, Adobe vice president of video products.

Registered Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 customers will be able to download the HDV plug-in later this year at http://www.adobe.com/premierepro.
