Zaxcom Inc. has introduced a new handheld transmitter to power its line of digital wirelesss microphones. The Handheld Microphone is designed for live entertainment venues and live to tape productions.
The Handheld Microphone uses all ShureT wireless screw-on microphone heads and is powered by AA lithium ion batteries. The Handheld case is machined from aluminum for rugged portability.
Like all Zaxcom digital wireless components and systems, the Handheld Microphone is 100 percent digital (no companding), with digital modulation and audio quality equivalent to a hard-wired microphone.
A complete system lists for $3,950, which includes one Handheld Microphone transmitter and one digital receiver (1500' range); ShureT Microphone heads are sold separately.
