Vinten's new Vector 60 pan/tilt head has features familiar to Vinten users, such as infinitely adjustable LF drag, platform deadlock, illuminated leveling bubble and pan/tilt brakes. The unit also offers a new counterbalance system that allows up to ±90 degrees of camera tilt. Vector 60 is also light and compact, allowing for easier set-up and repositioning, while demanding minimal storage space.
The Vector 60 has a capacity of 65 kg (143 pounds) and comes with a standard four-bolt flat base, single telescopic pan bar and wedge adapter. By combining the characteristics of LF drag with the new balance system, the effort needed to control the effect of a heavy, moving camera payload remains constant and predictable, allowing the operator to concentrate on framing the shot instead of thinking about the pan/tilt head.
