At IBC, Vinten Radamec robotic manufacturers will showcase its new Fusion range, which includes the FP145, a lightweight pedestal; the FH100, the new head; and two new control systems. Vinten will also feature the new variants to its Vector range, Vector 950 and 90, as well as Vinten Vision iScript systems.
The new control systems provide backward compatibility for products from Autocam and Radamec, but also introduce a future proof architecture, modern connectivity and ongoing support. The new FH100 head includes standard features such as simple changeover to full manual capability with Vector 70 type drag, providing direct control of broadcast lenses, and the ease of expansion. The new Fusion robotic pedestal, the FP145 uses a new navigation system utilizing floor targets with a straight-line update path. The new error calculation algorithms increase the accuracy and repeatability of the floor movement.
Vinten will also feature the new variants to its Vector range, Vector 950 and 90. Vinten said the new Vectors offer the camera operator improved picture control and a better performance from a smaller and more robust package. The Vector 950 has a capacity of up to 264 lbs. and Vector 90 has a capacity of 198 lbs. center of gravity.
Vinten has teamed up with Autoscript to create two portable production systems. The new Vision iScript Studio system is the ideal solution for studio situations, comprising the recently released Vision Ped Plus with its balanced column providing smooth on-air control and a tracking/castoring skid. The new Vision iScript ENG system is an all-in-one location production system comprising of a 2-stage Pozi-Loc Aluminum tripod, lightweight ground spreader, iScript head and GoPrompt 12 and all packaged into a lightweight flight case.
Both Vinten Vision iScript systems are offered with the Autoscript GoPrompt 12 solution, offering a newly designed "speed mount" hood/bracket, which slips into the head platform and is securely locked off.
