Telestream to Debut Automated Digital Workflow Solutions

Telestream will debut FlipScan at the NAB Show. Developed as an extension for its FlipFactory products, FlipScan automatically scans, analyzes and processes nonstandard, user-generated content being uploaded to a video Web sites.

Telestream also will introduce FlipFactory New Media, which automates high-volume content repurposing to Web and mobile distribution channels.

The full FlipFactory line enterprise-class transcoding products support more than 120 media formats and wrappers with direct integration for major systems and protocols.

Another debut at NAB will be the four-channel Pipeline Quad, Telestream’s newest model in the Pipeline series of network-based video capture systems, developed for integration into both Mac and Windows workflows. Single and multichannel models will be shown that provide ingest into Final Cut, FlipFactory and Episode workflows.

The new Episode Podcast product expands Telestream’s Episode Series for Mac users. Developed for Apple’s Leopard Server Podcast Producer, Episode Podcast extends Apple workflows for high-volume encoding to virtually any video or audio file format or platform. All Episode series media encoding applications for the Mac will be shown, including the Episode Engine that distributes files across multiple cores and servers for all video formats.

The Telestream Flip4Mac WMV Components, which have surpassed 10 million downloads, will also be demonstrated. Flip4Mac enables Macintosh users to play, import and export Windows Media video and audio files in native QuickTime applications. Its new Flip4Mac Image Server Component provides IMX MPEG-2 file compatibility and direct file transfer between 360 Systems’ MAXX servers and Final Cut Pro systems.
