Ross Video to Show Synergy, OverDrive Enhancements

Ross Video will roll out new features for Synergy SD at NAB, including a more powerful control-panel CPU, keyboard support and USB removable storage, new effects and support for the latest version of OverDrive. Synergy SD will be shown integrated with the Miranda Kaleido-K2.

OverDrive 3.0 will debut at NAB, as will the RossGear MD modules, for A/V distribution, conversion, synchronization, multiplexing and demultiplexing. Also new--a rack-mounted redundant power supply for GearLite modules--will be on display.

Ross will also show full production models of the Synergy MD/X multi-definition production switchers, which were shown in prototype last year. The Synergy line will include SmartConversion, a new cross-converter tie-line management option that allows cross-converters to be switched in and out automatically. New features for Talia line of routing systems will also be shown.

Ross Video will showcase its gear in Booth SU7141.
