Ross Announces New Video Processor

Ross Video has announced the release of a new quad split video processor, the QSP-8229.

The device combines up to four separate video inputs into a single output with configurable quadrant labeling and bordering with transparency. The unit has four outputs which can be fed from the processed quad split, or from an individual input.

“The QSP-8229 is an excellent, cost effective solution for monitoring up to four video inputs,” said Eric Goodmurphy, RossGear’s product marketing manager. “With passive looping of the inputs signals the QSP easily fits into any video path.”

The QSP-8229’s looping inputs allow the unit to be inserted into existing video paths without having to add distribution amplifiers to the system, thus reducing complexity and enhancing reliability.
