Riedel to Launch New MADI Card for Artist at AES 2007

Riedel Communications will showcase the new MADI card for its Artist digital matrix intercom platform at AES 2007 in New York City from Oct. 5-8.

Riedel’s new MADI (multichannel audio digital interface) client card provides an interface that allows the integration of the Artist intercom platform with digital audio router systems. All Artist intercom control panels are connected to the matrix via standard AES3 signals.

The MADI card also furnishes a solution for connecting multichannel audio between the audio router and the intercom system. The MADI-108 G2 client card can add eight audio channels to the MADI signal up to a maximum of 64 channels. The MADI connection from the client card to the audio router occurs via coax or fiber cabling.

Riedel will also showcase several new products it’s added to its Performer digital partyline intercom series, including the new Performer master stations CR-4 (4-channel) and CR-2 (2-channel).
