Orad Debuts Range of New Video Graphics Products

At NAB, Orad Hi-Tec Systems is showing its new Portal Media Center, which can consolidate live video feeds, clips, stills, 3D graphics, text, and audio within a single play-out environment. Broadcasters can create dynamic DVE-like effects using popular video formats, either live or recorded, without using any additional control room resources.

Orad’s new Motion Video Play platform performs image tracking in any sport without camera modifications. The MVP can track specified objects, like players or a ball, and display graphic elements assigned to those objects, even if multiple objects occupy a scene.

Also for sports, Orad’s Tracked Telestrator offers touchscreen control and illustration of video replays, plus it lets broadcasters create original graphics with built-in design tools. A flow motion feature generates a “video shadow” of the selected object, illustrating how a play or event unfolds.

Orad’s upgraded HDVG (High-Definition Digital Video Graphics) rendering platform promises improved performance across all of Orad’s systems and solutions. The HD/SD-switchable system supports up to six configurable full-resolution HD video insertions or as many as 12 configurable full-resolution SD video insertions.

The new version of Orad’s Maestro 3D character generator fully integrates with Orad’s graphic asset management system, allowing users to store all graphic assets in a central database with all relevant metadata.

Orad’s 3DPlay automated promo and channel branding system is a turnkey solution for automatic promos and channel branding. Orad showcases in the booth the 3DPlay’s new feature, the Action Browser, an interface for inserting graphic events into traffic and automation systems.

Orad Hi-Tec Systems is at Booth SU1920.
