Marshall Electronics' to Showcase New Monitors

Monitors of varying sizes and for a variety of applications will be introduced at the Marshall Electronics booth at NAB.

The V-R171P-HD 17-inch Daylight Bright High Definition LCD Monitor is available in rackmount or desktop configurations and targets HDTV and DTV widescreen applications in mobile, studio and location settings. Occupying 6 SRU and weighing 12 pounds, the V-R171P-HD offers standard inputs with active loop through on each connection for HDSDI/SDI (SMPTE259M, SMPTE292M) and composite video with PAL/NTSC automatic recognition, as well as a multiformat connector for HD or SD analog component signals (SMPTE274M).

The new TFT-MegaPixel V-72P-2HDA features dual, seven-inch HD LCD monitor high resolution, 1.2 million pixel screens with completely digital signal processing. Designed specifically for analog applications, the unit accepts DVI and HDMI computer or video signals plus all HD and SD analog video standards and signal types. The V-R72P-2HDSDI accepts all SMPTE/ITU HD and SD digital video standards and signal types. A signal HDSDI/SDI input is provided for each screen.

Also new at the Marshall booth is the V-R842P-AFHD dual screen 8.4 inch TFT MegaPixel monitor set for broadcast and professional video applications. Occupying 3 SRU of a standard 19-inch EIA equipment rack, the LCD monitors have CRT style viewing angles and incorporate completely digital signal processing to provide image reproduction that exceeds all similar CRT displays, according to the company. Standard inputs include HDSDI/SDI, analog YPrPb, Composite Video and computer XGA (1024x768) for each screen.

Rounding out the monitor line is the V-ASL7000 portable seven-inch monitor/receiver designed for AV applications. The low-reflection, high resolution TFT/LCD monitor features a cable ready NTSC tuner with booster interior rod antenna or CATV feed, two channels of A/V input, plus switched output of onscreen image and audio for routing to another display.
