At NAB2007, North Hollywood-based Litepanels will show new enhancements to MiniPlus, a compact, portable LED softlight based on the Litepanels Mini line of products. It's available in daylight (flood and spot) and tungsten (flood) models, and provides over 25 percent greater output than the Mini.
New features for the MiniPlus include a snap-on two-hour-plus rechargeable battery pack now with a five-step bar graph fuel gauge and improved charge indicator that displays charging status and the remaining battery power when the light is in use.
The MiniPlus snap-on baseplate has been redesigned for lighter weight and more versatility, and a new deluxe detachable ball mount with integrated hot shoe allows for multiple configurations on various types of mounting hardware. Litepanel's new optional remote dimming module allows users to override the MiniPlus on-board dimmer at distances up to 25 feet.
Litepanel's other products include the new LED Ringlite Mini and the modular, slim Litepanels 1x1.
