Harmonic will be demonstrating several of their latest products at IBC, including the DiviCom Electra 8000 Universal SD/HD Encoder, the ProView 7000 Integrated Receiver Stream Processing Platform, the Ellipse Contribution Encoder and the SUPRALink DWDM Transmission System.
The Electra 8000 supports both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 in SD and HD at full frame rates of up to 1080p 50/60 and delivers four channels per RU. The ProView 7000 combines a scalable video receiver, DVB descrambler, multiformat decoder and MPEG stream processor in one unit. The Ellipse Contribution Encoder combines both AVC and MPEG-2 compressions into one low power consumption package. The SUPRALink family of fiber optic products allow transmission of up to 1 GHz analog or digital signals at distances of up to 40 km.
