DVEO’s Capture Card Comes to IBC

August 18, 2009

DVEO, CMI’s broadcast division, will be at this year’s IBC Show showing off their four channel HD-SDI Master PCIe capture card.

Featuring the ability to automatically detect input standards, the card can receive up to four HD-SDI streams simultaneously in real time, then load them onto a video server or PC workstation. PCIe technology allows for a total bitrate of nearly 6Gbps.

The HD-SDI Master was designed for HD video encoding, post-production processing, electronic news gathering (ENG) and supports 1080i, 1080p and 720p resolutions. Onboard firmware does all the converting, minimizing load on the host computer’s processor. The card includes API and driver support for the Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as DirectShow filter support.

DVEO will be at stand 2.C33.
