At NAB2006, DNF Controls will showcase a new feature for its on-air automation backup system.
A new "as-run" logging option for the company's 3040P/DLO playlist playout system provides automatic logging of playout times, durations and the notation of any errors that may have occurred. The 3040P/DLO playout system is an on-air automation backup system that allows users to return to the air in the event of an automation failure. The new logging functionality allows uploading from the 3040P/DLO system to a Windows-based PC.
"At the request of users, we added the new As-Run Log option to provide them with a record of what was aired," said DNF Controls President Dan Fogel. "Our 3040P/DLO is typically used for secondary or tertiary on-air automation backup."
DNF Controls will be in Booth SU2955.
