Discreet recently launched its cleaner central software, a client server-based automated transcoding system designed to raise efficiency and lower production costs in the workflow of high-volume transcoding.
cleaner central is the newest addition to the Discreet streaming media software product line. It is designed to be an efficient and scaleable solution for the enterprise-level streaming media market. The software streamlines the development and preparation of media for delivery through use of an advanced, automated and distributed transcoding network that will free more time to be spent on content quality.
Compressionists will be able to reuse and repurpose customized cleaner settings within the software. The system works with all popular streaming formats.
Discreet purchased the cleaner platform from Media 100 in 2001.
