Digidesign has made available its Pro Tools TDM 5.3.3 software for Pro Tools|HD on Windows XP.
The new version of Pro Tools includes most of the features in Pro Tools 5.3.1 for Macs. The Windows release features additions including:
* Remote control via the Pro Tools software interface and Digidesign control surfaces
* A multi-DSP 48-bit mixer
* Increased SYNC I/O options
Pro Tools 5.3.3 is designed to improve the workflow efficiency for Windows XP users through simultaneous sharing of media assets. Operators can stream audio and video from Avid Unity MediaNetwork, a facility-class network for content creators that enables media sharing between Avid picture workstations and Pro Tools audio production systems. Users can also work with Digidesign's suite of interoperability products: AVoption|XL, FilmFrame and DigiTranslator.
