da Vinci to Showcase C.O.R.E. Technology at IBC

Color enhancement and image restoration developer da Vinci will showcase new products based on its C.O.R.E. (Cuda Optimized Resolve Engine) platform at IBC2008.

The R100 boasts a full featured toolset while providing an affordable color grading system for broadcasters, post houses and production studios.

Also featured at the da Vinci booth will be the R700, which the company touts as the “world’s fastest color grading system,” and the R4K, a true real-time, 4K interactive color grading solution.

Targeting the world of 3D, da Vinci’s R3D uses the company’s C.O.R.E. platform to provide the ultimate in-context color grading solution.

da Vinci will also showcase its Impresario control panel, a next generation artist/system interaction that is ergonomically sensitive and features a new robust industrial design. It is available as an option to any da Vinci Resolve system.

Speaking of Resolve, IBC will mark the European debut of da Vinci’s Resolve R-series digital mastering suite. The R200, R250, R300 and R350 systems feature an industry-standard GUI and control panels and target DI (digital intermediate) color grading across feature films, television, and commercials.
