Cooke Optics Plans New Lens Showing at IBC

Cooke Optics is preparing to unveil the working prototype of a new lens designed for digital and 35 mm production at the year’s IBC Show. The new Panchro is a redesign of Cooke’s original Panchro lenses that played a big part in establishing Hollywood as a foremost film production center. The new Panchro is small, light weight and priced affordably so that independent and student filmmakers may take advantage of the enhanced technology.

Cooke Optics will also be showing a wide range of their other lens products, including the Cooke RED set of S4/I optics and the company’s S4/I Primes. Also look for the /I dataLink which easily mounts on any camera and records focus, zoom and iris settings along with other pertinent data from each shot, allowing the metadata generated to be passed on to postproduction.

Cooke Optics will be at stand 11.D10.
