Digital cinema will again be a super-sized topic at IBC2008. And conventioneers can once again experience the best content on the IBC Big Screen.
The IBC Big Screen will be open Friday to Sunday (Sept. 12-14) to leading suppliers in the industry to demonstrate their latest developments.
The IBC Big Screen will feature surround sound as the latest d-cinema technology in a theater built especially for IBC in the RAI Auditorium.
Last year, the cinema boasted a live HD link to Oscar-winning special-effects pioneer, Robert Zemeckis, as well as a preview of “U2 in 3D.”
Companies involved with the IBC Big Screen this year will include ARRI, Christie, Doremi, Panasonic, PS Technik, Red and RealD.
Movie presentations are free to all IBC visitors, but seats are limited.
Monday, Sept. 15, a full-day paid conference will focus on digital cinema.
