Wegener Provides Fox with iPump
Fox 24-hour news operation NewsEdge has ordered a Wegener iPump system, including Wegener's digital content management system, MediaPlan.

The system will allow NewsEdge to combine elements of digital asset management with Duluth, Ga.-based Wegener's satellite network control system. The MediaPlan digital content management system ingests, encodes, tracks and archives news information as digital assets--video clips, metadata and script information. Delivery of the system is slated for Wegener's fourth fiscal quarter of 2005 and will conclude by the end of the second quarter of fiscal quarter 2006.
